Becky
Owner, Manager
Becky can remember rockin’ out watching her dad’s band at a very young age. Her love of music and playing music only grew from there which led her play through high school and college. She learned of School of Rock when her youngest son began the program, and after years of being a parent, then employee, she decided it was time to bring this life changing program to more students in the Chicagoland area.
Becky possesses a Bachelors Degree in Theater and has performed on many a stage throughout her lifetime. It is behind the scenes as the owner of School of Rock Oswego, however, where she has found her true calling. In her off time, you can find Becky hanging out with her husband, three adult children and, of course, seeing live music!
Jesse
Music Director
Jesse is a lifelong writer and musician. He started playing guitar when he was 11 and bass guitar at 16. Songwriting is also a long-time passion that has resulted in creating a portfolio of original music, mostly pop and folk rock songs, and playing with many original acts throughout the years.
While attending DePaul University in Chicago, he expanded his musicianship into the music improv comedy scene where he played in backing bands at famous comedy clubs such as Second City, iO, and The Annoyance. Jesse can currently be seen playing lead guitar for Classic Cars, a tribute band to the music of The Cars. Staying true to his songwriting roots, he is still supporting local songwriters on lead guitar and writing material of his own when not at School of Rock Oswego.
