Roseville, CA – School of Rock Roseville is proud to announce its upcoming End-of-Season show. Nine bands will take the stage at a Rancho Cordova Brewery to show off all the hard work they’ve put in over the summer.
The show will take place on Sunday, September 14 at LogOff Brewing on Sunrise Boulevard. Shows will get underway at 11:00 a.m..
This is the 19th season of shows at School of Rock Roseville. These End-of-Season shows feature two types of performance groups: Rock 101 features younger students, usually ages 7-11. And our older students – ranging in age from 11-18 – will be performing music from a variety of artists, including Iron Maiden, Journey, Stevie Wonder, and Ghost.
“Our Rock 101 group has grown tremendously over the years,” said Namor Nalupta, General Manager and Music Director at School of Rock Roseville. “They began with core curriculum staples like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and now they’re exploring a ‘mixtape’ format featuring artists such as Taylor Swift, The Cranberries, and even a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.”
Another highlight of Roseville’s school is their Songwriting Program. Students will perform original compositions at the End of Season Show, but that’s not all.
“They will head into OneEleven Studios in Roseville to record their original work,” said Nalupta. “It’s a professional experience that not only celebrates their creativity but also commemorates their time together as a band.”
School of Rock students take individual lessons on traditional rock instruments like guitar and drums, but they also come together each week to learn how to play in a band with their peers. It’s what makes it such a special place. They spend months preparing rock songs, and shows like this one at LogOff Brewing are where they get to step on stage and show off everything they’ve learned.
Tickets are now available at our school, or at the door. These performances are open to the public.
