RECORDING and production CAMP
Want to learn what it takes to record music? This is a music camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 12-18 years of age who have some proficiency with their instrument and are looking to expand into the world of music production and recording. Through this special 5-day recording camp, students will learn how to write their own songs. Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements, and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance.
During this 5-day camp, students will also learn the fundamentals of recording and production that can be applied to any type of home studio setup. Utilizing powerful and accessible recording technology and gear, students will record, mix, and master songs as a final product to take home.
If you are unsure of your students ability for this camp, please contact the school prior to enrollment so we can get your student in for an evaluation. ALL Non-SOR students will need to come into the studio prior to enrollment so please contact the school. Any discounts offered at the time of evaluation request will be honored upon enrollment.
