In this music camp, 5 to 7-year-old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation. Mon thru Fri, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Friday performance at 12 PM.
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday with a performance at the end of the last day.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Monday–Friday - 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM (rehearsals, practice time, music-based games and activities)
- Friday Performance - 12:00 PM (campers perform the songs they worked on during the week).
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Learn songs, jam together, build band skills.
- Creative, fun, high-energy environment.
WHAT TO BRING
- Lunch/snacks, water bottle.
- Hearing protection (available for purchase at the front desk).
REMINDERS
- No nut products.
- No toy guns or weapon-like objects.
