School of Rock Vancouver Presents: THE 80s VS THE 90s!

It’s time for a showdown of epic proportions: The 80s vs The 90s! Join us for a rock-fueled battle between two of the most iconic musical decades, as School of Rock Vancouver presents an unforgettable two days of music featuring students from 7-18 years old from the Rock101 & Performance Programs, alongside Adult Program Students. Plus, enjoy special appearances from our youngest rockers in the Little Wing and Rookies programs (ages 3-6), kicking things off with their cutest and most energetic performances.

On one side, we’ve got the pop and new wave hits of the 80s—think Cyndi Lauper, Prince, Duran Duran, and Madonna. On the other, we have the raw, alternative energy of 90s rock and grunge with bands like Pearl Jam, Oasis, Nirvana, and the Foo Fighters. It’s a musical clash where you get to decide: will the 80s pop vibes reign supreme, or will the 90s grunge era take over the stage?

Don’t miss out on this epic showdown of sound and style—it's an explosive night of music you won't want to miss!

The day will include six shows over two days from our different student groups. Attend one show, or all of them! Please note that separate tickets are required for each show.

RESTRICTIONS

Due to space and licensing restrictions, tickets are required for all guests 3 years old or older in order to enter. Hearing protection is strongly recommended for all guests – please bring your own to the show. Must be 19+ with ID for bar service. Limited seating is available. The Hollywood Theatre will have a mix of standing room and seating. If you require a seat, please make sure to arrive early. All seating is General Admission. All ticket sales are final. No exchanges or refunds.

School of Rock Vancouver offers camps and programs for all skill levels and ages where students can learn guitar, bass, keys, drums or vocals. Combining 1-1 lessons with group band practices, along with live performances on stage, it is where students grow into real musicians and rock stars in their community! Want to attend more than one show? Get a two day VIP pass for only $35 + Taxes and ticket fees! Only 20 all day passes are available so get your tickets early while they last. Two day passes are not available at the door and must be purchased in advance.
