This high-energy, family-friendly event blends two exciting themes into one spectacular show:
KIDS + TEENS: ONE-HIT WONDERS THROWBACK PARTY
What’s better than a band with one massive, unforgettable hit? How about a whole show full of them! Our student performers will take you on a nostalgic journey through chart-topping one-hit wonders that have stood the test of time. Get ready to sing along to ’80s earworms like “Come On Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners, “Take On Me” by a-ha, and “I Ran (So Far Away)” by A Flock of Seagulls. You’ll also hear throwback jams like “Mr. Big Stuff” by Jean Knight, “Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba, and “Closing Time” by Semisonic. These songs may have topped the charts once, but they’ve lived on—and our students are ready to bring them roaring back to life!
ADULTS: CAN-CON – CELEBRATING CANADIAN CLASSICS
Our adult students will be turning up the volume on homegrown hits with a loud and proud tribute to Canadian music legends. From rock icons like Rush, Bryan Adams, and The Tragically Hip, to singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, and Neil Young, to modern stars like Arcade Fire, Avril Lavigne, Feist, The Weeknd, and Billy Talent, this show is packed with national pride. It’s a celebration of the artists who helped define Canada’s musical identity—and we’re inviting you to sing along and show your pride.
Whether you’re reliving a one-time chart-topper or belting out a Canadian anthem, this mixed-theme showcase has something for everyone.
