This summer, School of Rock Vancouver is bringing the heat with REGGAE + PUNK = SKA! Join us at the Shipbuilders' Stage on August 29th and 30th for two days of genre-blending hits performed by the students of School of Rock. These shows take a fun, sun-soaked dive into how reggae, punk, and ska collide, highlighting the shared musical roots that connect these iconic genres.
Students from the Rock 101, Performance Program, and Adult Program will take the stage to perform music from legends like Bob Marley, The Ramones, Sublime, Green Day, Toots & the Maytals, No Doubt, Burning Spear, The Police, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and more! These sets bring together the groove of reggae, the edge of punk, and the movement of ska in high-energy shows all weekend long.

School of Rock Vancouver lights up stages across the city all year long, performing at The PNE Fair, Khatsalano Street Festival, The Shipyards, Canada Day at Canada Place, Theatre Under The Stars, FanExpo Vancouver at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the Garlic Festival, and at the Hyack Festival Parade, where the band was honoured to win the Mayor’s Award for Best Band for a third year in a row!
Our seasonal shows always bring the energy, and this outdoor summer event is the perfect way to soak up great live music in the sunshine. Bring your friends, your dancing shoes, and get ready for a weekend of unforgettable performances.
The event will feature several shows across two days at the Shipbuilders' Stage in The Shipyards, North Vancouver. This is a public, free event with no ticketed entry. Stay for one set, or stick around for great tunes all weekend!

PARKING & ARRIVAL
The Shipyards is easily accessible by public transit via the Seabus to Lonsdale Quay. Paid parkade and street parking is available nearby, but can fill quickly during peak hours.
