CAMP DESCRIPTION
The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s music camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 10-18 years old who have had some previous instruction on the instrument they intend to play at camp.
WEEKLY SCHEDule
Camp runs Monday through Thursday, 9am - 3pm, then 9am - 4pm on Friday, when campers will be performing here at the School
Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities
On Friday, campers will perform the songs they've been working on throughout the week!
what to expecT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, and water.
My son's been taking guitar lessons on and off for a couple years, but had no idea how fun it can be to actually play in a band. He had such a good time at Green Day camp that he wants to sign up for the regular after school program. We're so excited he found School of Rock!
