camp description
Campers will learn the music of 60s and 70s rock icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones in our Classic Rock Rewind music camp. In addition to rock songs, students will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on stage. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 10-18 years old who have had some prior instruction on the instrument they intend to play at camp.
Weekly Schedule
- Camp runs Monday through Thursday, 9am - 3pm, then 9am - 4pm on Friday, when campers will be performing here at the School
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities
- On Friday, campers will perform the songs they've been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, and water.
MY DAUGHTER REALLY CAME OUT OF HER SHELL AT SCHOOL OF ROCK CAMP. HER GUITAR PLAYING IMPROVED A LOT AND NOW SHE CAN'T PUT IT DOWN. SHE MADE FRIENDS AND WANTS TO ENROLL IN THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM THIS FALL. GREAT JOB! - ANNE S.
