This camp will be 3 days of songwriting, and 2 days of recording at the studio at our West Houston location! This is a great opportunity to get a new perspective on being a working musician, going through the whole process of getting your music from an idea and out to the world!
Camp Description
Want to learn what it takes to record your own music? During this 5-day camp, students will learn the fundamentals of recording and production that can be applied to any type of home studio setup. Utilizing powerful and accessible recording technology and gear, students will record, mix, and master songs as a final product to take home. This is a music camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 13-18 years of age who have some proficiency with their instrument and are looking to expand into the world of music production and recording.
Weekly Schedule
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day consists of learning, hands-on experience with recording technology, and fun music-based games and activities
- On Thursday and Friday, campers will record and master songs from the songwriting camp, taking home the final product!
What to expect
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning recording and production taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.
