In this music camp, 6-7-year-old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation.
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 6 & 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday with a performance at the end of the last day.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 12:30pm each day.
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time, lunch break and fun music-based games and activities.
- Camp will end with a rock concert at the school. Family and friends are invited to watch campers perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week.
- Drop-off is no earlier than 8:45am and pick-up is no later than 12:30pm. We do not offer before or after-camp care.
