The School of Rock York House Band celebrated mothers in a special way this year. On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, the House Band took the stage at the first-ever Inked & Amped Tattoo and Rock Festival at the York Fairgrounds Old Main Building.

School of Rock York is a performance-focused music school that offers programs in guitar, bass guitar, keys, drums and singing. The School of Rock York House Band includes talented young music students ages 11 to 18. This audition-based band gives music students the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at PA rock venues throughout the year.

Inked & Amped is a tattoo and rock festival created by local people who have a deep passion for tattoos and music. The festival included 50+ tattoo artists, 20+ local bands performing live, 25+ vendors and food trucks, and tattoo contests.
