Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s music camp! This camp is for students ages 7-18, and no prior experience is necessary.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Get ready for an amazing time learning the music of the glamorous 80's! Throughout the week students will learn great songs, participate in fun and engaging activities, and end the week with a live rock and roll performance at the school!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Camp is Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM

Drop-off starts up to 10 minutes before camp begins
Pick-up should be no later than 10 minutes after camp ends
Each day is packed with rehearsal time, practice sessions, and fun activities!

FRIDAY PERFORMANCE

At the end of the week, it’s showtime! On Friday, campers will perform the songs they’ve learned for family and friends. Join us at the school at 1:00 PM for the big show!

WHAT TO BRING

Lunch: Campers should bring their own lunch each day
Instruments: Guitarists and bassists, bring your own instrument if you can (no worries if not; we have a few on hand and some for purchase!)
Drumsticks: Drummers, please bring your own sticks (also available to purchase)
Ear Protection: Ear plugs are required and available for purchase if needed

Through our GearSelect program, campers and students can grab high-quality instruments and music gear right from us! We’ve partnered with top music brands to offer everything from drums to mics to effects pedals and more. GET A HEAD START WITH PRIVATE LESSONS

While camps require no previous musical experience, some students prefer to get a few lessons under their belt in order to really feel prepared. To schedule your lessons, please email ankeny@schoolofrock.com and we'll get you on the schedule!

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans can change. Camp spots are limited, and the following policy helps us staff and schedule properly while still offering flexibility for families.

Cancellation Policy

31+ days before camp starts
100% refund back to the original payment method -OR- 100% account credit

15–30 days before camp starts
50% refund back to the original payment method -OR- 100% account credit

14 days or less before camp start
No cash or card refund. 100% account credit only (never expires)

Account Credits never expire, and may be used for future camps or toward year-round lessons and performance programs.

Families may opt for a 100% account credit at any time instead of a refund. 

We appreciate your understanding and support. These policies allow us to maintain consistent staffing, provide a great experience for all campers, and keep our programs running smoothly.
