WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

Throughout Rock and Roll history, some of the best performers were also the most popular of their time. These early Pop Legends such as Aretha Franklin, Dianna Ross and Dusty Springfield paved the way for modern icons such as Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift. While this music workshop features mostly female music artists, we also feature some of their male counterparts such as Michael Jackson and Prince. After rehearsing for five days, the participants will take the stage on the final workshop day. This is a great workshop for instrumentalists and vocalists 11-17 years of age, with some prior experience preferred.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Come ready to rock from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Please pack lunch/snacks, water, and hearing protection for all workshop days. There will be an on-site performance on Friday at 2:30pm. Friends and family are welcome!

CANCELLATION POLICY

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. Workshops that are canceled up to 15 days prior to the start of workshop can receive a full refund of an account credit to be used for any School of Rock Brookline program/workshop or a refund back to the card used minus a $50 cancellation fee. If the workshop is canceled within 14 days of the start of the workshop, full refund of an account credit to be used for any School of Rock Brookline program/workshop or a 50% refund back to the card used.
