Students will learn how analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years and learn how to write their own songs. *Intermediate Skill Level Required*

PLEASE NOTE: This camp requires Intermediate Skill Level.
Please enroll in one of our other camps if you are a beginner player!
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time, recording sessions and fun music-based games and activities.
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students will learn how to analyze popular songs and then use that knowledge to write a song of their own as a group. We will get into song form, melody, rhythm, writing lyrics, chord progressions, harmony, workshopping ideas as a group. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance. Songwriting Camp Students will also be working closely with our Production Camp Students to record one of their original songs!

SHOW TIME ON FRIDAY IS AT 1:30PM
STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN HEARING PROTECTION
- Rock N Roll gets LOUD and we want to make sure their ears are protected!
- Over-the-ear plug-in headphones or AirPods are NOT sufficient
- We have Isolation Headphones + single-use earplugs available for sale at the front desk
PLEASE BE SURE TO SEND YOUR KIDS WITH A NUT-FREE LUNCH + THEIR OWN WATER BOTTLES (LABELED WITH THEIR NAME)!
- Food is not provided - please send your kids with a NUT-FREE lunch and snacks.
- Students may not leave the premises at ANY time.
- If any of your kids have food allergies, please let us know.
DO I NEED TO BRING AN INSTRUMENT?
- Having your own instrument is NOT required to participate in camp.
- Guitarists and Bassists may bring their Guitar, picks + 1/4" cables.
- Drummers can bring their own drum sticks, NO kit! We have drum sticks available for purchase at the front desk.
- Keyboardists, DO NOT bring your keyboards! Lucky you!
- We HIGHLY encourage Vocalists to bring their own microphone to camp - please make sure they have an XLR connection. We have inexpensive microphones for sale at the front desk.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers will receive a full refund if canceled at least 7 days before camp.
Customers will receive a 50% refund if canceled 6 days up until 24 hours before camp begins.
No refund if not canceled at least 24 hours ahead of time.
If for any reason SoR must cancel a camp due to low enrollment (less than 3 campers), you will be notified at least 72 hours in advance and issued a full refund.
