WHAT TO EXPECT
In this 5-day music camp, students will learn and play music from some of the most popular artists of the 21st century, including Foo Fighters, Amy Winehouse, Imagine Dragons, Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and rehearsing songs culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day. Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities. On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
What to Bring?
Campers must bring their own lunch each day.
Guitarists should bring their own guitar (or bass) if they own one.
Guitarists should bring straps, picks, extra strings, etc.
Vocalists can bring their own microphone if they own one.
Drummers must bring their own drumsticks.
Campers must bring their own hearing protection (available for purchase).
Taking lessons to learn an instrument is one thing, but learning how to be a part of a band is on another level. These kids are learning how to communicate, respect people and their opinions, and how to be accountable for themselves. It's more than just music here.
