Students ages 12-18 build and customize their own electric guitar under expert guidance. This camp runs from 9 AM to 12 PM Monday-Wednesday.

This summer, take your love of music to the next level by building your very own instrument! In our Build-Your-Own-Guitar Camp, students will design, assemble, and customize an electric guitar from start to finish. Guided by our expert instructors, campers will learn how guitars work, explore tone and setup, and gain hands-on experience with tools, hardware, and finishing techniques.Throughout the week, campers will bring their instrument to life — sanding, painting, wiring, and stringing. Join us for a week of creativity, craftsmanship, and rock ’n’ roll — and go home with an instrument that’s truly your own.

Each day consists of learning about the inner workings of a guitar, assembling your very own guitar, and adjusting it to your specifications.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can look forward to an exciting and inspiring week of music led by our talented camp instructors. Each day, campers should bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection to stay comfortable and ready to rock.At School of Rock, safety and inclusivity are always top priorities. To help ensure a positive experience for everyone, please avoid packing nut products, and make sure personal items brought from home are safe and appropriate for a group setting.

To make our camps more accessible, we offer convenient payment plans! Secure your child's spot with a deposit of just $150, followed by equal monthly payments leading up to the camp start date. Cancellation Policy

A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.Tuition may be transferred to another available camp week or to another student if space allows.  If a family faces an unexpected situation, please reach out and we will do our best to help find an alternative camp week or solution.  Thank you for understanding that your enrollment helps us plan instructors, materials, and schedules to give every student an unforgettable summer experience.

What ages can attend School of Rock Doylestown camps?

Full day performance camps are for ages 8 to 18. Half day Rookies Camps are available for ages 6 to 7.

Do beginners need experience to join?

No experience is required. We group students by age and skill level so everyone can learn and have fun together. For camps other than Rock 101 and Rookies, some experience is beneficial.
