Rock Your Way to a Music Badge with School of Rock Doylestown!

The Scout Junior Musician Badge encourages scouts to explore music in a fun, hands-on way. At School of Rock Doylestown, scouts participate in a group workshop built around activities we already offer, including playing instruments, listening to music, and making music together.

The Junior Musician Badge workshop is designed for scouts in grades 4–5 and is welcoming for beginners as well as scouts with prior music experience. The focus is on participation, creativity, and collaboration rather than technical instruction or performance skill.

During the workshop, scouts are introduced to how instruments make sound, listen to music from a variety of styles and cultures, and talk about how music shows up in their everyday lives. Scouts then work together on a simple group music activity and take part in a short,  group performance.

The activities are designed to align with the Girl Scout Junior Musician Badge and support scouts in completing the badge during the workshop. The session is led by talented instructors at School of Rock Doylestown and takes place at our school.  All instruments and materials are provided, and no preparation is required.

School of Rock Doylestown is located at 88 South Main Street and serves families throughout Central Bucks. Workshop scheduling is flexible, with weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekend midday options available.
