Is School of Rock for beginners?

School of Rock is perfect for beginning musicians and intermediate and advanced musicians, too. School of Rock works to develop each student's skills to be stage-ready for performance.

What does School of Rock teach?

School of Rock teaches guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard + piano, and singing. What sets School of Rock apart from traditional music lessons is our Method™ which combines one-on-one instruction with group rehearsals and live performances, teaching students how to play together as a band.

Does School of Rock Green Valley offer lessons for adults?

Yes, we offer lessons for adults ages 18 and up. At School of Rock Green Valley, we offer private instruction in guitar lessons, bass lessons, drums lessons, piano lessons, and singing lessons. We also offer an Adult Performance Program, which includes a weekly private lesson paired with a weekly band rehearsal. Students in the Adult Performance Program rehearse together for one season/ 4 months and at the end of the season, they perform on stage!

Does School of Rock Green Valley offer advanced programs for experienced musicians?

School of Rock Green Valley's Houseband is our program for advanced students. Students 12-18 years old with at least two seasons completed in our Performance Program are eligible to audition for our Houseband. Students accepted into the Houseband Team remain enrolled in the Performance Program and have an added weekly rehearsal with Houseband for performance opportunities scheduled each month and throughout the year. Houseband is for our most dedicated students who are looking to expand their musical growth and get more stage time to enhance their performance prowess.

As a Houseband member, students are eligible to audition for School of Rock's national touring team AllStars!
