In this 5-Day Performance Summer Camp, campers will learn and perform songs from some of the most popular artists of the 21st Century, including Foo Fighters, Amy Winehouse, Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and rehearsing songs culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. Group activities and games will also be included, but the final performance rehearsals serve as the main tool for furthering each camper’s music education journey.

who this camp is for

This camp is for campers 9-17 years of age who can already play their instruments according to these guidelines. Playing ability is required for this camp to ensure that the camp week is fun for everyone. If we are not familiar with your camper’s playing ability, we will work with you to find out more about your camper, including offering a free trial lesson at School of Rock Lake Oswego as an assessment. An Immersion Pass discounted lesson pack is a perfect way for campers to help them learn the necessary skills to play in the camp.

This camp runs 9:00am–3:00pm for five days, Monday through Friday.

This camp includes a performance on Friday for family and friends. Please make sure your camper is available to attend the performance.

what to expect

Campers can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Campers can also expect to be playing music and interacting with musicians of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities, which contributes greatly to the learning experience, cooperation and team orientation that playing in a band requires. 

Campers should bring their own guitar or bass guitar, strap, tuner, and picks, and drummers should bring their own drum sticks. All other instruments are provided. Hearing protection is also required for camps. Campers should bring their own over-ear or in-ear hearing protection. Campers should also bring snacks, a refillable water bottle, and their own lunch Monday-Thursday. We will provide a pizza party on Friday.

instrument mix

To build the bands, our 5-Day Performance Camps require a particular instrument mix and playing ability level. If your camper can play multiple instruments, please let us know! We have to limit certain instruments more than others, especially drummers.

cancellation policy - PLEASE READ!

Cancellations made up to 15 days prior to the camp start date have two options: 1) 85% credit toward a new enrollment membership for one of our year-round programs -new students only- OR 2) a 50% refund.

Cancellations within 14 days of the 1st day of camp are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Enrollment transfer between camps can be done up to April 30, 2026.
