School of Rock Targets Sacramento Area for Music Education Franchise Expansion

Fifth Location to Open in Land Park on June 21

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – School of Rock, the global leader in performance-based music education with over 400 schools in 17 international markets, is expanding its Sacramento footprint with the grand opening of its fifth location in Land Park on June 21, 2025.

School of Rock offers an exciting and immersive approach to music education, combining bass, guitar, vocals, drum, and piano lessons with dynamic group rehearsals and live performance opportunities. Students learn music theory and instrumental techniques by playing iconic songs from some of the most legendary rock and roll artists of all time.

At the heart of this expansion are Jason Kline and Cecilia Yi, the married duo behind School of Rock’s success in the Sacramento area. Since opening their first location in Elk Grove in 2017, they’ve grown to serve over 1,200 students and counting across five schools. Their impact has been recognized both locally and nationally—most recently with the 2024 Franchisees of the Year honor from the International Franchise Association.
