WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Throughout Rock and Roll history, some of the best performers were also the most popular of their time. These early Pop Legends such as Aretha Franklin, Dianna Ross and Dusty Springfield paved the way for modern icons such as Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift. While this music workshop features mostly female music artists, we also feature some of their male counterparts such as Michael Jackson and Prince. After rehearsing for five days, students will take the stage on the final camp day. This is a great workshop for instrumentalists and vocalists 8-18 years of age, with some prior experience preferred.

What to expect
Students attending Pop Legends workshop can expect to spend the majority of their time this week rehearsing songs from the best pop legends. However, they will also take some time to get to know their band mates, play games, and it all culminates in a performance!
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to the school.
Our summer workshop performances are held outdoors at School of Rock.
