On a bone-chilling second night of the Festival of Lights, intrepid members of the community came out on Monday evening, Dec. 15, to the Chanukah House of Pikesville to usher a little light into the darkness.

A School of Rock franchise opens in Pikesville offering the tools for live performance and personal creativity.

Andrew Walen was a musician, a songwriter, a stay-at-home dad, a therapist and the founder of multiple mental health care companies before his retirement at 48, but being a franchise owner never crossed his mind.
