BEST OF THE ’90s PERFORMANCE CAMP

For experienced musicians ages 8–17

Get ready to crank up the amps and relive one of the greatest decades in rock history! Our Best of the ’90s Performance Camp is designed for young musicians with some prior lessons or playing experience who are ready to level up their skills and perform like pros.

Throughout the week, campers will dive deep into ’90s rock legends — think Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more. With guidance from our expert School of Rock instructors, they’ll learn and rehearse full songs, sharpen their technique, and master the art of playing together as a real band.

It all leads up to the ultimate Friday concert, where campers hit the stage and rock out live for family and friends. Expect big sound, big energy, and big smiles — the perfect mix of nostalgia and next-gen rock power!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Early drop-off / late pick-up available for an additional fee
• Each day includes instrument workshops, band rehearsals, stage performance coaching, and team-building activities
• Campers should bring a packed lunch and snack — we’ll take a mid-day break to refuel and hang out with the band
• Friday: Live concert and afterparty for family and friends!

WHAT TO EXPECT

This camp is all about collaboration, creativity, and confidence. Students will:

• Meet new friends who are excited about music
• Learn iconic ’90s rock songs and the stories behind them
• Improve technique and timing through daily practice and jam sessions
• Build teamwork and stage presence as they prepare for the big show

It’s a high-energy, performance-focused week that brings out every camper’s inner rock star and leaves them ready to take their music to the next level. For students who want to brush up on their skills, 4 or 5 lesson packs are available. Two weeks prior to the start of camp, all students get access to The School of Rock Method app--our proprietary learning platform containing song transcriptions and exercises.

GEAR & SAFETY

Campers are encouraged to bring their own instruments (except drums and keyboards, which we provide). Please label all personal gear.

At School of Rock, safety is always center stage:

• All staff are background-checked and trained in youth safety procedures
• Our facility features secure entry, viewing windows, and 24/7 video monitoring
• Please avoid packing nut products in lunches and remember that toy or real weapons are not allowed on campus
