In this fun, high-energy camp, 5 to 7-year-old beginners will learn about the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to making music together as a band.
A Rockin’ Start for Young Musicians!
Our Rookies Camp is the perfect place for 5–7-year-olds to make musical friends, learn new skills, and have a blast in a safe, welcoming, and high-energy week-long summer day camp!
Throughout the week, campers will explore song structure, rhythm patterns, and group playing while discovering all the classic rock instruments — guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. They’ll even get hands-on experience playing hit songs together!
The camp runs Monday through Friday, ending with an exciting live performance for family and friends. It’s creative, confidence-building, and absolutely adorable!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Campers can look forward to a fun, inspiring, and educational week led by our talented instructors. Expect laughter, movement, teamwork, and creativity — the perfect first step in your child’s musical journey and the start of friendships and memories that will last long after camp ends.
All instruments are provided and specially modified for younger players, so please leave instruments at home to prevent loss or damage.
A water cooler is available for campers, so there’s no need to bring water bottles (they tend to get left behind).
Rookies camps run in consecutive weeks. You may enroll in either one or both sessions.
SAFETY FIRST
At School of Rock, your child’s safety is our top priority.
All staff members complete rigorous background checks and safety training.
Our facility features restricted-access areas, direct-view windows, and 24/7 video monitoring to ensure a secure environment.
To keep all campers safe and healthy, please avoid packing any nut products in snacks or lunches, and remember that toy or real weapons are not permitted at camp.
"My son had an amazing experience in the Rookies summer camp! This was his first camp experience, and I cannot thank the staff enough for making it so special for him. He made friends, explored music, and got to perform for family and friends at the end of the week. The staff is friendly, experienced, and very understanding. We can't wait to start weekly lessons!" - School of Rock Brick Parent
