While folks back home were eating burgers and watching fireworks, 12 local teens were cementing some international connections with the universal mortar of rock and roll.

The Mamaroneck School of Rock’s 10-day, 6-gig visit to Chile climaxed at the Hard Rock Cafe in Santiago on July 4th: a concert and celebration with US Ambassador Richard Yoneoka in attendance and the words of “The Star Spangled Banner” booming through the amplifiers.
