There’s something special about summer at School of Rock Princeton. The bands get louder, the rehearsals get bigger, and students spend the season doing what they love most — making music together and getting ready to perform live on stage.
Our Summer 2026 Performance Season is officially open for sign ups, with Early Summer, Full Summer, and Late Summer show options designed to give families flexibility while keeping students connected to music all summer long.
Whether your child is already performing or looking to join a band for the first time, summer is one of the most exciting times to be part of the School of Rock community.
A Summer Full of Live Music and Performance
At School of Rock Princeton, students do more than take weekly music lessons. They rehearse with other musicians, learn how to collaborate as a band, and build confidence through live performance.
Every season ends with a real show where students take the stage and perform for family and friends.
For many kids and teens, it becomes more than a music program. It becomes a place where they make friends, grow creatively, and feel part of something bigger.
Flexible Summer Performance Options
This year’s summer season includes multiple scheduling options to help families balance vacations, camps, and summer plans while still giving students the chance to perform.
Families can choose from Early Summer, Full Summer, or Late Summer performance groups depending on what works best for their schedule.

More Than Just Music Lessons
One of the things families love most about School of Rock is the sense of community students build throughout the season.
Students gain confidence, learn teamwork, and experience the excitement of working toward something together. Many parents tell us their child becomes more motivated, more social, and more comfortable expressing themselves after joining a performance group.
And for kids who love music, there’s nothing quite like the experience of stepping on stage with a band and performing live.
Ready to Join a Band This Summer?
Summer shows tend to fill quickly, especially popular themes and rehearsal times.
If your child has been thinking about performing, learning an instrument, or joining a band for the first time, summer is one of the best times to get involved.
Our team is always happy to help families find the best fit based on age, experience level, musical interests, and summer schedules.
