At School Of Rock Napa, students can start as young as age 4 in our group class, Little Wing. For students age 6 to 7 we offer the group class, Rookies. From age 8 to 10 we offer the Rock 101 program, combining a group rehearsal with a private lesson. This is perfect for complete beginners and less experienced students. For students 8 to 17, we offer the Performance Program which pairs a weekly private lesson with a weekly group rehearsal and a seasonal performance at a real venue.

A first lesson at School Of Rock Napa, will focus on getting to know the student and giving them what they need, in a friendly, positive environment. For Rock 101 and Performance Program students, our instructors will carefully select songs. exercises and other materials using our SongFirst methodolgy. This may vary in individal students, but at School Of Rock Napa, students have the most success starting private lessons at around 8 years old. For 7 years old and under we offer group programs. Little Wing 4-5, Rookies 6-7. We do this because we want to make sure that our students start their musical journey with a program that is age appropriate.
